Space to rent in the Black Church's buildings
The Evangelical Parish A.C. of Brașov — the congregation of the Black Church — looks after a group of houses inside the old citadel. What comes free in them is published here, with plans, floor areas and terms, in four languages.

The buildings
Each building has its own page: the history of the house, what is free in it now, and the floor plan to download.
Terms
How the letting works
Spaces do not go to whoever asks first. The parish publishes an offer reference, takes written offers and chooses between them — and for a listed house what is going to happen in the space counts as well as the rent.
- A deposit is payable.
- The lease is signed before a notary.
- Fitting-out only with the owner's agreement.
- The owner may extend the deadline for offers.
Making an offer
Offers go to the parish's historic property administration, by email or at the office. Quote the offer reference, say what you intend to use the space for, and for how long you would want it.
Owner
The owner
The Black Church is the landmark of Brașov, but the parish looks after more than the church: the houses around it, the old town parsonage, the congregation's archive and library, two baroque churches and the historic cemeteries. Rent from the let spaces goes back into keeping all of it standing.
